SALARY RANGE: $67,500 - $82,700
FLSA STATUS: Exempt  
 
SUMMARY   
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team! The Human Resources Generalist supports several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs. Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources. May evaluate and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services. Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records. Supports the Human Resources team in the daily processes at Edge Autonomy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
  • Assist with the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, total rewards, employment practices and employee engagement
  • Consult with site HR team and leadership to determine HR needs and provide support
  • Evaluate current HR practices and make recommendations for best-in-class solutions
  • Coordinate, track & conduct onboarding, orientation, and training sessions for new employees
  • Apply knowledge of regulatory compliance and Federal and State employment and labor laws
  • Team-player always demonstrates professionalism
  • Understands and applies confidentiality appropriately in all situations.
  • Champion & support Internal Policies and Procedures for Edge Autonomy
  • HR Audits including I-9, Employee files, benefits bills, and HR invoices to name a few
  • Assists with employee relations and communications
  • Create and maintain employee personal records and files in the company database
  • Assist with recruitment
  • Track incoming resumes via the Resume Tracking System and EEO requirements
  • Handle Employment Authorization issues
  • Supports employee and company safety requirements & culture
  • Supports leave of absence management
  • Utilize programs such as Adobe, Microsoft Word, Office, Canva, and Outlook, to create and maintain company documents
  • Assist with government reporting
  • Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Leaves of Absence/Disability/EDD incoming documents (Preferred)
  • On-Boarding / Recruitment (Preferred)
  • FMLA/CFRA/PFL Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Experience with ATS/ HRIS systems is (Preferred)
  • A related bachelor’s degree and field experience of 2- 4 years
  • Or related industry and field experience of 5+ years
  • Recognized as a team player. Demonstrated team leadership skills along with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong people skills and communication skills. Must have experience in interacting with many different types of personalities in different levels of the organization.
  • Results-oriented; ability to prioritize; effective problem-solving skills; and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Must possess good business acumen with ability to help drive HR best practices.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Knowledge of ATS systems, HRIS systems
