We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for optimizing and improving our production processes to enhance efficiency, quality and safety and industrialize new products.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to minimize waste, reduce costs and cycle times.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Industrialize new products.
- Design and implement new production processes, including equipment selection and layout.
- Design Jigs and Fixtures required for production.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, P-FMEA and written instructions for production technicians.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Production Process Engineer, or NPI Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly and testing.
- Familiar with PPAP elements.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Experience working in ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and spoken Latvian and English language.
