We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team.
The role is focused on the procurement and coordination of indirect goods and services required to support company operations, including IT equipment and software, training services, R&D materials, facility-related purchases, professional services, and other non-production requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing activities.
Responsibilities
 
  •  Manage procurement of indirect goods and services across multiple company functions.
  •  Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company procedures and approval workflows.
  •  Identify, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers for indirect procurement categories.
  •  Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support cost optimization initiatives.
  •  Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier records, contracts, and invoices.
  •  Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and service quality.
  •  Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Operations teams.
  •  Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, compliance, and purchasing efficiency.
  •  Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
 
  •  Experience in procurement or purchasing of goods and services.
  •  Experience with indirect procurement categories is considered an advantage.
  •  Strong organizational and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  •  Good commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
  •  Strong attention to detail and administrative discipline.
  •  Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  •  Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  •  Experience working with ERP or procurement systems.
  •  Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  •  Fluent in Latvian and English.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, economics, supply chain, or a related field is considered an advantage.
