SALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $66,000 to $89,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
SUMMARY
Redwire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UAS Logistics Coordinator to support the operational readiness, lifecycle management, and logistical coordination of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated support equipment. This role serves as a key link between flight operations, maintenance, logistics, and compliance functions to ensure UAS assets remain mission-ready, properly maintained, and fully accountable throughout their lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records for UAS platforms, payloads, batteries, ground control stations, support equipment, and spare parts.
- Manage the complete asset lifecycle from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, storage, transfer, and retirement.
- Conduct inventory audits, reporting, procurement, shipping, receiving, and transportation activities.
- Coordinate deployment logistics and vendor repairs, including RMA tracking.
- Support preventive maintenance programs, configuration management, and readiness tracking.
- Support FAA Part 107 compliance, audits, battery safety programs, and SOP adherence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience in UAS operations, aviation logistics, maintenance coordination, or asset management.
- Working knowledge of UAS platforms, payloads, batteries, communications equipment, and ground control systems.
- Experience with inventory control, asset management, or maintenance tracking systems.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and aviation safety principles.
- Hands on maintenance/tooling experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Hands on aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred.
- Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office Suite product
- Experience supporting DoD, public safety, government, or commercial UAS operations.
- Experience with MIL-STD documentation and configuration management.
- Military aviation, maintenance, logistics, or special operations background desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
