SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $175,000

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

 

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering and a strong background in designing and integrating complex systems. This role requires a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Systems Engineer at Edge, you will:

•Lead the design, development, and integration of complex systems for our innovative products, including uncrewed aircraft systems and related technologies.

•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to ensure cohesive and integrated system designs.

•Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

•Conduct system-level design reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

•Perform system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

•Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, working closely with engineering and production teams to implement effective solutions.

•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS
