SALARY RANGE: $154,065 - $278,791

SUMMARY   

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our UAS (Uncrewed Aerial Systems) / UAV (Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle) aerospace manufacturing facility. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, strategy, and business growth to drive the success of our UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing facility. Your leadership, strategic planning, and industry expertise will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and positioning the company as a leader in the UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing sector.    

  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.    

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and profitability goals, in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing facility, ensuring effective coordination of all departments and functions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational excellence across the facility, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and delivery of UAS UAV aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of business processes.
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation, product development, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
  • Implement and maintain strict adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure operational performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing facility.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to enhance brand visibility and promote the company's aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth, expansion into new markets, and diversification of product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and certifications pertaining to UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing, such as FAA regulations, ISO standards, or AS9100.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on the performance, achievements, and challenges of the UAS UAV aerospace manufacturing facility.

  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business development, and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving business targets and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a manufacturing facility or business unit.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Master's degree
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other manufacturing software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and certifications relevant to aerospace manufacturing, such as FAA regulations, ISO standards, or AS9100
