SALARY RANGE: $24-$38

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

The office manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating office activities with Human Resources and assisting with needed administrative tasks to ensure operations run smoothly.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.  

  • Administrative Support: Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Detail Orientation: Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that all office processes run smoothly and efficiently, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Facility Management: Coordinate with janitorial staff to ensure cleanliness and organization of the office space. Monitor maintenance issues and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Office Improvement Projects: Facilitate office improvement initiatives, such as workspace redesigns or technology upgrades, to enhance the working environment.
  • Event Planning: Organize office events and meetings, including logistics, catering, and material preparation.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing office budgets, tracking expenses, and finding cost-effective solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure that office operations comply with health and safety regulations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in office software and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in handling sensitive information and business operations
