SALARY RANGE: $23 - $28

SUMMARY
Edge Autonomy is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector should have experience with Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) and system subcomponents and be able to work with the team to ensure an outstanding final product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Perform inspections (in-process and final) on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, system subcomponents, batteries and assemblies (mechanical, electrical).
- Document production and test anomalies in accordance with prescribed procedures and process as required
- Communicate and help resolve quality related issues
- Process non-conforming product
- Perform receiving and/or final inspection to assure product compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable specifications
- Read and interpret released drawings, engineering change orders, assembly and inspection instructions
- When directed perform audits of specific areas, processes and procedures
- Use standard electrical and mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, mechanical gauges and other measuring devices
- Maintain records of rejected/accepted material, maintain databases for analysis of nonconformities
- Familiarity with calibration processes and documentation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:
- Highschool diploma or higher
- 2+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes
- Demonstrated understanding of inspection processes
- experience using engineering drawings and wiring schematics
- The ability to inspect a product or system to ensure that it is according to specifications and requirements.
- Read and comprehend standard blueprints, machine, and process drawings.
- Use equipment to test performance and operation.
- Measure voltage, current, resistance or other electrical characteristics by using electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters.
- Use various techniques to ensure the product quality is respecting the quality standards and specifications. Oversee defects, packaging and sendbacks of products to different production departments.
