SUMMARY

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) / Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) aerospace manufacturing organization at Edge Autonomy. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality UAS/UAV products by conducting inspections and tests on components, subassemblies, and finished products. Your meticulousness, adherence to quality standards, and strong attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.

  • Quality Inspector would perform inspections per Quality Standard and Technical Data Packages
  • Communicate with production to help resolve quality-related issues.
  • Process non-conforming material
  • Quality Inspector would oversee inspection to assure product compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable specifications.
  • Read, interpret disseminate released drawings, engineering change orders, assembly, and inspection instructions.
  • Use standard electrical and mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, mechanical gauges, and other measuring devices.
  • Maintain records of rejected/accepted material, maintain databases and reports for analysis of non-conformities.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing electronics, aircraft/UAV quality programs
  • Use of standard electrical and mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, mechanical gauges, and other measuring devices
  • Experience managing calibration processes and documentation
  • Background in ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and AS9102
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal format
  • Team player that can achieve results through influence
  • Ability to troubleshoot and apply logic
  • Strong understanding of the products and processes
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and superior organizational skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with IPC-610 and IPC-620
