As a Consumer Insights Intern on the Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role by analyzing consumer behavior and trends to inform strategic decisions and enhance the customer experience.
In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents. For this Consumer Insights Intern role, we are seeking a candidate with proven analytical skills and a curiosity for understanding consumer behavior to help advance our efforts to develop customer-focused marketing and product strategies. Responsibilities:
- Support research initiatives that will inform gaps in understanding across our prospect and customer journeys and beyond
- Analyze data from primary and secondary data sources to gain an understanding of the current customer journey and identify gaps in knowledge
- Contribute to the development of customer journey maps across various stages of the customer lifecycle (e.g., awareness, consideration, onboarding, etc.)
- Identify pain points and opportunities for improvement across touchpoints
- Work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm solutions that address pain points
- Establish a framework for monitoring and measuring success of our customer journey maps
Requirements:
- Must be a Rising Sophomore/Junior
- Majors Desired: Marketing, User Experience Design, Psychology, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to think strategically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally
- Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in customer service, UX research, or marketing (internship or academic projects) is a plus
