As an Event Marketing Intern on the Institutional Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role by supporting our flagship events, gaining hands-on experience in event communications, creative content development, and schedule planning. Your contributions will play an essential role in creating a memorable experience for our network. Your team will include an Experience & Events Marketing Manager, Senior Design Manager, Senior Content Strategist
In addition to a genuine commitment to helping others, we’re looking for a candidate who will complement our team’s strengths. For this role, we seek someone with a solid understanding of marketing communication strategies. We’re looking for a creative thinker who’s prepared to contribute to the enhancement of impactful, employer-centered events.
If you’re a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a talent for clear and compelling writing, and an eye for effective event communications and outreach, this may be a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Advisory Council and special event specific responsibilities:
- Comms planning and timelining
- Develop an evite plan.
- Research possible social media opportunities.
- Council member bios writeups
- Industry conferences – 2026 Schedule building
Requirements:
- Must be a Rising Sophomore or Junior
- Experience with marketing communication strategy.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are a must, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Understanding of event technology such as marketing cloud, Staffbase, Cvent, or similar programs is preferred.
- Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
- Experience with the basic Adobe Creative Suite (or similar creative software) is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field
