Location:  Anywhere in the U.S. mainland.
 
ECC is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor for project sites across the U.S. In this position you will be assigned to a specific region and will primarily work within that region. The role requires traveling 90-100% of the time, meaning you will be frequently on the move to different project sites. Because of the extensive travel, you can live anywhere in the U.S. mainland. In this position, you will:
 
  • Be responsible for Health and Safety requirements 
  • Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Plan, oversee, and report on all tasks related to AFFF removal, replenishment (using Milspec-approved F3 foam), AFFF waste material management, and system decommissioning, including sprinkler system install/removal.
  • Ensure proper packaging of AFFF waste materials for transportation and offsite disposal.
  • Oversee environmental project work, including the management of waste materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges and general field operations.
  • Assist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve the objectives of a task and operate the equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics across federal facilities, managing multiple tasks, and liaising with key points of contact (POCs) including installation level personnel, AFCEC, US ARMY, USACE, and contractors.
  • Demonstrate professional, clear, and concise communications to facilitate operations and build confidence in the prime contractor.
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems.
  • Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements.
  • Experience in tank and piping work, AFFF removal, replenishment (Milspec-approved F3 foam), and system decommissioning.
  • Experience in environmental projects, including waste material management, AFFF material removal, and sprinkler system installation/removal.
  • Logistics experience managing multiple tasks across federal facilities and working with AFCEC, US ARMY, USACE, and other POCs is required.
  • Two years of progressively responsible safety experience on environmental or construction projects. 
  • Must meet the requirements for a Level 1 SSHO.
  • Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with ECC desired, but not required

ECC targeted base salary range is $82,000 to $92,000 annually. 
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
