Site Superintendent
Description
Location: Guam
ECC is seeking internal candidates for a Site Superintendent position for a renovation construction project in Guam. This position is primarily responsible for the implementation of field related policies, programs, and practices that support and advance the Company’s long-term business objectives. In this position, you will:
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Health and Safety Officer for interaction of task prioritization
- Compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements as identified by functional officers - will dual hat quality control
- Assist and lead teams in achieving task requirements
- Key implementers of field activities and tasks preparatory to field activities
- Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager
- Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges
- Assume the role of quality control officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans, standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achieving project objectives
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
- Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems
- Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities
- Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements
- Eight years of progressively responsible experience on construction projects
- Five years supervisory experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with experience managing schedule and budget for large construction projects
- Experience with construction subcontractors
- Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
