Description

The Data Entry Operator will work on site in Maui, HI.  LOCAL candidates! This is a temporary position working on the Maui Wildfire Response project.  This position will operate keyboard-controlled data entry devices such as a computer, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoder to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing.      
       
Basic Requirements:      
  • Experience working with standardized source documents.
  • Ability to follow specific procedures or detailed instructions.
  • Capability to resolve issues such as erroneous items, codes, or missing information.
  • Application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures and interpreting data.
  • Searching for, selecting, or coding items from various document sources.
  • Skilled in alphanumeric keyboard operation.
  • Understanding of transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment.
  • Ability to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing.
  • Excel skills
  • Ability to work over time as needed to achieve project goals
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
ECC targeted hourly rate is $18.34
      
Benefits Offered     
This SCA position offers Health and Welfare $4.98 per hour up to 40 hours per week, 2 Weeks of vacation AFTER 1 year of service, Holiday and sick pay
