Intern – Geology

Environmental / Environmental Remediation Lakewood, Colorado


Description

ECC is seeking a Geology intern for summer 2025 for our Environmental Group in our Lakewood, CO office. Travel is required and may fluctate from week to week.  Some of the onsite work locations may include, but not limited to, Fort Carson, Colorado, and/or Mead, Nebraska. ECC will cover travel expenses. This position will support various environmental projects.  Work will typically include assisting with site work plans, creating technical reports and assisting with sampling events (groundwater, soils, etc.).  This position will follow a hybrid work model: some time will be spent in the office, and other times, onsite work will be needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel 
  • Education- This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Geology

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 40 preferred, but can be provided

The rate will be $18-20/hr and approximately 40 hours/wk.
Travel (flight, lodging, transportation, meal) expenses will be provided while working on project sites, if meeting the distance requirements for benefits. No other benefits provided.
