Project Planner / Scheduler
Description
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Perform critical path method (CPM) analysis, schedule risk assessments, and forecasting
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with baseline schedules and key milestones
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to gather schedule updates and validate progress
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and variances, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and updates to project leadership and stakeholders
- Support project controls functions, including cost and schedule integration where applicable
- Assist with 4D planning/BIM coordination (e.g., Navisworks, Synchro) as needed
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
- Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or government projects
- Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, project controls, and scheduling best practices
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in an international/remote project environment
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Planner / Scheduler in construction or infrastructure projects
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and relevant experience (a combination of education and experience may be substituted). U.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred
- Experience with U.S. federal, DoD, or defense-related construction projects
- Familiarity with 4D planning / BIM tools (Navisworks, Synchro, or similar)
- Experience working on international or remote projects
- Knowledge of cost-loaded schedules or earned value management (EVM)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, large-scale project environment
