Description

ECC is seeking candidates for a Site Superintendent for the Hurricane Helene response efforts. Project locations could be MacDill Air Force Base near Tampa, FL or Moody Air Force Base in south Georgia. This position is primarily responsible for the implementation of field related policies, programs, and practices that support and advance the Company’s long-term business objectives. In this position, you will:
 
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Health and Safety Officer, and Quality Control Officer for interaction of task prioritization
  • Compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements as identified by functional officers
  • Assist and lead field teams in achieving task requirements
  • Key implementers of field activities and tasks preparatory to field activities
  • Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager
  • Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges during mobilization, sampling, surveying, deconning, and general field operations
  • Assist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve the objectives of a task.  When appropriate, operate the equipment as needed during mobilization, sampling, surveying, deconning, and general field operation
  • Assume the role of sample team lead to assist the quality control officer and health and safety officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans, standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achieving project objectives
  • Coordinate with project engineer, and project team to prioritize field activities and identify task assignments.
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
  • Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems
  • Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities
  • Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements
  • Eight years of progressively responsible experience on environmental or construction projects
  • Travel: Must be able and willing to work on-site at project location
  • Five years supervisory experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with experience managing schedule and budget for large construction projects
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required
  • Experience with sampling, surveying, and deconning
ECC targeted base salary range is $75,000 to $105,000 annually. 
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
