General Clerk II
Description
- Perform a wide range of project-related activities as assigned by the manager
- Assist with project documentation including government submittals, safety and quality reports, personnel lists and contact information, site photographs, meeting minutes, etc.
- Complete daily reports
- Upload and maintain documents on the Project Portal
- Coordinate field activities with subcontractors and other project personnel
- Assist in preparation of invoices to the client as necessary
- Assist with Government Property Administration at the sites
- Collaborate with staff and management in completing various operations related administrative activities
- Prepare routine correspondence in an accurate and timely manner
- Interface with clients, with professionalism and courtesy
- Compile data from multiple sources and synthesize information in document preparation
- Provide support and interface between procurement staff and project for project procurement activities
- Aid in completing progress reports, schedule updates, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
- Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations
- Demonstrated success in delivering dependable service to customers
- Skilled in managing large volumes of detailed information accurately
- Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet
- Experience with general clerical duties on a professional level
- Must be able to work extended days and hours
- Travel: Must be able to work on-stie at project location and travel as required to meet project needs.
- Education: This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
- Prior ECC experience on disaster or emergency project in an Administrative or Operations position desired but not required
- Basic understanding of contract language
- Prior experience with disaster or emergency type projects
- Work well independently and as a team
- Work efficiently with minimal guidance
ECC targeted pay range for this position is $17.20 plus H&W rate, actual pay will depend on work site location.
