Position Summary 
The Analyst, Enterprise Systems role is the bridge between business needs and technology solutions. This role partners closely with departments to deeply understand their workflows, processes, challenges, and opportunities, and then translates those needs into system requirements and technical implementation in core enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS). By aligning enterprise systems with organizational strategy, the Analyst ensures that solutions are strategic, user-centered, and impactful, ultimately enabling smarter, more connected, and future-ready operations. 
This is a non-supervisory position. The Analyst, Enterprise Systems is expected to work a full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule, and will be required to work hybrid from one of the following locations: San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. 
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a non-supervisory position. The Analyst, Enterprise Systems is expected to work a full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule, and may work hybrid from the following locations: San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Partnership & Analysis [40%]
  • Build strong partnerships with departments to understand goals, workflows, and system requirements, software and vendor evaluation. 
  • Conduct needs assessments, process mapping, backlog grooming, and gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Document organizational processes, requirements, user stories, and system specifications in collaboration with stakeholders. 
Systems Implementation & Documentation [40%]
  • Translate organizational requirements into functional system design specifications, partnering with cross-functional technology teams to drive solution delivery while providing oversight of vendor work products and holding third-party partners accountable to quality standards, timelines, and contractual commitments. 
  • Implement enterprise applications including system configuration, implementation, prototyping, administration, ensuring they meet user and organizational needs, including leading UATs, stakeholder sign-off and technical documentation.  
  • Recommend improvements that streamline workflows and enhance user experience. 
Adoption & Change Management [20%] 
  • Collaborate with Digital Transformation, Internal Communications, and Project Management Office teams to support smooth adoption of new systems and processes. 
  • Develop user documentation, guides, and training materials in partnership with the Digital Transformation team. 
  • Monitor system performance, collect user feedback for continuous improvement, ensure consistent and effective system use across the organization, and provide Tier 2 functional support by troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with IT and vendors.

  • Actively pursue professional development and contribute to a culture of learning by building skills and sharing knowledge.  
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
 
Required: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar role. 
  • 2+ years of experience in technical project management and enterprise applications (ERP, HRIS, CRM, etc.) 
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow mapping, business process improvement and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. 
  • Experience with RFPs, technical vendor review, system implementations, and cross-functional technology projects.

  • Skill in leading diverse teams with emotional intelligence and cultural competence; fosters growth through mentorship, effective communication, and constructive feedback while hiring and developing team talents to align with organizational needs. 
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of change management, user adoption strategies and experience leading projects using agile methodologies. 
  • Proficiency with reporting/data analysis and reporting tools wither intermediate Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is a plus.

  • Read documents, conduct computer work and document review

Salaries at Earthjustice are determined by working location and are commensurate with the experience required. The annual salary range for this role in
 
San Francisco, CA or New York, NY: $123,800 - $137,500          
Washington DC: $117,600 - $130,700
