Practice Support Senior Technical Analyst

- Sr. Analyst Support
- Standard platform (Relativity) support including primary aspects of Relativity, specifically:
- Creating firm standardized workspaces
- Loading documents, including incoming productions
- Creating custom views and layouts as directed or identified by legal teams and/or document review teams
- Assisting with document searches, including vetting applicable search terms and/or deployment of analytics
- Working with various document production formats, styles, issues, and re-productions
- Manipulating load files (DAT, OPT) to solve problems
- Assist with testing new workflows and new features and integrations
- Advanced features of Relativity, including:
- Working with STRs and vetting and refinement of search term syntax
- Email threading workflows and batch review
- Versed in details and usage of textual near duplicate analysis
- Setting up review batches based on various criteria
- Conceptual analytics, analytics indexes, and clusters
- Security access settings
- Use of Excel, ReadySuite, or other tools to solve technical issues
- Various analyses of documents and metadata
- Native redaction (e.g., Blackout) and other advanced tools
- Active learning and/or other technology assisted review features and support
- Custom workflows and/or using Relativity scripts to solve problems
- Technical troubleshooting
- Department Support
- Support Practice Support Department Manager and assist with development and deployment of department workflows, processes, and documentation to further department initiatives
- Understand, contribute, improve, and evangelize department practices and procedures
- Harness creativity and collaboration with team members to innovate and solve litigation support challenges
- Dedication to self-education regarding eDiscovery industry news, developments, challenges, technologies, and other practice support topics
- Provide visibility to legal teams as a “go-to” person for technical practice support solutions
- Advanced knowledge and technical aptitude of Relativity and understanding of other eDiscovery platforms
- Basic understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (“EDRM”) and various phases of litigation matters
- Provide off-hours support, as needed and necessary

- Ability to analyze and tackle novel problems in the litigation support space
- Superior knowledge and technical aptitude and capabilities operating litigation technology systems and platforms, with specific emphasis in Relativity
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard applications and trending best practices, in conjunction with excellent organization and project management skills, including planning and execution of practice support projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work within scheduling constraints in high-pressure situations, including handling multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively and clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, especially in response to requests for information
- Strong organizational and technical skills with litigation support tasks such as advanced searching, review, and document productions
- Initiative and positive attitude with the ability to anticipate issues and exercise mindful and productive responses
- Solid problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and pride of workmanship
- Keen desire to learn in a continuously evolving and developing technology-based landscape
- Handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner while working under tight deadlines to complete projects accurately, quickly and efficiently
- Collaborates and interacts as a key team member of the practice support group, supports colleagues and works towards the betterment of the department and the firm as a whole
- Relativity certifications considered a plus
- Associates or Bachelor degree preferred in conjunction with 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent

Washington State
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $135,000 to $149,000 ($69.23-$76.41 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
