Senior Electrical System Engineer
•Act as liaison between customers, Dura’s mechanical product groups, Dura’s assembly plants and the Electronics Development Group
•Interpret and analyze system and customer specifications to determine impact on the functional design content of the electronic system
•Develop and document functional and diagnostic requirements
•Work with electrical and software engineers to allocate requirements to electrical and software elements
•Create, maintain and implement functional and diagnostic test plans
•Participate in electrical and software design peer review activities
•Support DFMEA activities and design reviews.
•Support Design Verification & Production Validation (Plan/Perform/Manage)
•Support application specific hazard analysis and safety plan development
•Support Product Development activities as required
•Support Test Equipment Development activities as required
•Support the development of technical timing plans to meet customer deadlines
•Document and track open issues with customers as well as internal Dura departments
•leads lessons learned documentation (design, process, manufacturing, quality)
