Yard Attendant/Dry Custodian

Exciting Opportunity: Yard Attendant / Dry Person (Gowest Gold, Bradshaw Project, Timmins, ON)

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of job tasks to assist with electrical projects
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, complete pre-op reports on equipment before use
- Report any repair issues or equipment hazards immediately
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Assist with general labor duties when needed, in order to complete projects
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and job hazards
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Safe work record
- Some computer skills (excel) required, warehouse skills would be an asset
- Willing to travel underground to deliver parts to Electrical Team
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written). Speak, read, and write English
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Thorough knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations as they pertain to the workplace
