Wage: $30.75 - $34.75 / HR
Potential Renumeration: KPI Bonus

About the Role:
 
As a Boom Truck Operator with Dumas, you will safely operate underground service vehicles to support daily mining operations. This entry level position plays an important role in transporting materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the mine while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork. Dumas is committed to developing new talent and may provide Ontario Hardrock Common Core training to qualified candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate underground boom trucks and other service vehicles to transport materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform pre operational inspections and basic maintenance checks on assigned equipment.
  • Follow established traffic management, loading, and unloading procedures underground.
  • Assist crews with material handling and general labour duties as required.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and team members to support daily operational needs.
  • Identify hazards and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and support housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with all Dumas and site specific safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Basic Common Core or willingness to obtain required training.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate mobile equipment safely.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding underground environment.
  • Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
