Position: Field Welders -Multiple Projects (Various sites across the Timmins Camp)
Rotation: 7/7, 14/14, 4/5/5/4
Shift: 10 - 12 Hour shifts, depending on the site schedule
Wage: $60.00 - $70.00/HR
Potential Renumeration: KPI Bonus – Referral Bonus
Travel/Accommodations/Meals: Per Site Specific Allowance

About the Role:
As a Field Welder with Dumas, you will perform welding, fabrication, and repair work in support of construction, maintenance, and mining operations. You will work in industrial and mining environments, ensuring all welding activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and site standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work on structural steel, piping, and mechanical components.
- Repair and reinforce equipment and infrastructure as required to support ongoing operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications to complete assigned tasks.
- Inspect welds and completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Operate welding equipment and maintain tools in safe working condition.
- Follow all company, client, and site safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre operational equipment checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines.
- Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
- All other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
- Valid CWB Welding certification or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial, construction, or mining welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience working in industrial or mining environments preferred.
- Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core and/or Surface Common Core considered an asset.
