We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Intern on our Enverus Intelligence Research team (EIR). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, financial analysts, and geologists to ensure data integrity, analyze trends and publish actionable investment research for investment banks, private equity, hedge funds, institutional investors as well as energy companies. Examples of the research you could undertake include analyzing market trends, power & renewable forecasting, and relative economic analysis. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills and excels in a fast paced, dynamic environment.  
 
This full-time role is based out of our Calgary office. We look forward to welcoming the successful candidate for a 16-month term beginning in May 2025. 
Performance Objectives 
  • Aggregate, clean and analyze large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets and analyze market activity using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™.
  • Update, maintain and improve proprietary databases critical for formulating opinions on assets including well production data, renewable projects and financial data.  
  • Participate in conference calls with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Core™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing the energy industry and energy investors today. 
  • Maintain financial and forecasting models using SEC filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, and government and industry datasets.  
 
Competitive Candidate Profile 
 
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Previous co-op/internship experience 
  • Highly computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analytic tools 
  • Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
