Senior Analytics Engineer
Who are we looking for? 
We are currently seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Analytics Engineer to join our RatedPower team working in Madrid or remote.

The new hire will help us formalize our current dashboards, help to create new metrics, and help design new event driven data collection methods. The ideal candidate should be interested in discovering new metrics and not be scared to question whether our current methods could be improved.
As an Analytics Engineer at RatedPower you would work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to help them find new way of thinking about our clients and identifying/catagorizing our users. 
 
The candidate will be responsible for:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to help them improve their analytics by creating new dashboards and thinking about new metrics. 
  • Design data collection methods and data models around app usage. 
  • Automate manual data processes being done across teams 
  • Assist with root cause analysis to answer specific business questions. 
  • Work cross functionally across the organization to communicate needs to the engineering org and blockers to stakeholders. 
 
Required skills 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL. Exposure to Snowflake is a plus. 
  • Experience designing dashboards. Exposure to PowerBI is a plus. 
  • Experience with event driven analytics and data modelling.
  • Capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex business activities, technical requirements and recommendations.
  • Strong analytics skills and problem-solving skills especially when it comes to finding data to complete a task or designing a process to collect the data needed. 
  • A proactive approach and suggesting new analytics to teams is also important. 
  • Automating complex data pipelines and workflow orchestration using tools like Prefect is a plus.
