We are currently seeking a Backend Developer to join our RatedPower team working in Madrid or remote. What you’ll do:
- Improve pvDesign by developing new or improving functionalities, with efficient, reusable, and easy to maintain code.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Frontend teams, to frame and tackle the challenges, both from a technical and business context.
- Manage and improve CI procedures.
- Administrate and maintain cloud infrastructure with guidance from our devSecOps engineers.
- Identify and implement improvements that reduce technical debt and enable the team to iterate faster.
What you should have:
- Experience working with Java, SpringBoot, and object-oriented programming
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL and non-relational like mongoDB
- Strong motivation to drive impact by making product or infrastructure improvements
- Previous experience writing unitary tests
- Deep understanding of architectural principles and design patterns
- Proactiveness, team player and willingness to teach & learn from peer
- Continuous integration and issue tracking tools such JIRA
