We are currently seeking a highly driven Operator Intelligence Analyst to join our Product Management team in Houston, TX. Performance Objectives

  • Cover a subset of US E&P companies through a variety of research tasks
  • Maintain valuation, financial, and operational models for the E&P companies under coverage
  • Write and publish research notes featuring quantitative analysis, strategic commentary, and unique insights
  • Engage customers through in-person presentations, phone calls, and other media
  • Collaborate with international team members in a way that optimizes productivity, efficiency, and creativity
  • Generate actionable ideas to improve the Operator Intelligence product and execute accordingly'

Competitive Candidate Profile

  • Two or more years of experience working in a role related to:
    • E&P research (e.g., sell side)
    • BD/IR/finance/strategic functions within an E&P
    • Investment banking in energy
    • Or similar roles
  • Demonstrated skills:
    • Economic modeling
    • Compelling writing, presenting, and interpersonal communication
    • Ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple complex projects
    • Bonus: VBA, Spotfire, Python or other coding skills
  • Traits:

  • Credentials:
    • Bachelors or graduate degree
