We are currently seeking a Technical Advisor to join the RatedPower team supporting the DACH region. Performance Objectives   
  • Conduct demonstrations and technical trainings of the SaaS solution pvDesign to potential and existing clients. 
  • Solve pvDesign users’ queries via email and conference calls. 
  • Monitor user activity and provide relevant design and engineering advice on the development of PV, storage, and interconnection facilities. 
  • Optimize solar PV project proposals of pvDesign users to achieve realistic results maximizing their energy yield, performance, and profitability. 
  • Collect, understand, and communicate the feedback recovered from clients during interactions to Product. 
  • Become the expert within the company for market-specific insights regarding industry trends, customer profiles, and best practices.
  • Optimize the pre-sales Customer Journey in the assigned market(s) in collaboration with the Sales team representatives in the region. 
  • Attend solar, storage, and interconnection-related events in representation of the company. 
  • Visit clients at their offices to conduct in-person meetings and establish a great rapport with our partners.
  • Conduct webinars and provide technical expertise for content creation (blogs, podcasts, and social media posts) in collaboration with the Marketing team. 
  • Evaluate, improve, and expand the self-help documentation available to clients in the form of Knowledge Base articles, methodologies, user guides, FAQ, and in-app information. 
  • Ensure the translation of all new text added to the pvDesign output documentation and user interface (UI) as part of the development of new or improved features. 
  • Act as the user advocate and engineering expert in Product-related projects: perform research activities, ideate potential solutions and improvements, ensure that the scope of the features or improvements solve or alleviate a client's need or pain point...  
  • Act as user advocate in the Quality Assurance (QA) exercises preceding the launch of new features into Production by ensuring that the feature works as planned and the UI is intuitive and user-friendly.

Competitive Candidate Profile   

  • Recent graduate or student in last year of an engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Energy Engineering)
  • Knowledge in the design and development of solar PV plants.
  • Native German High English and excellent interpersonal and written communication in German and English (C1)
  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering or Renewable Energy.
  • Work experience in solar PV.
  • Passion in finding the best solution to customer questions/issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mind with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, and eagerness to learn.
  • Sociable, curious, open minded and creative.

This role is eligible for: Variable Compensation
