We are currently seeking a highly driven Trading & Risk Product Management Director to join our Product Management team in North America. Performance Objectives

  • Support the VP of Product Management in the development of a clear Trading & Risk consolidated product vision which utilizes cost/benefit analysis tools to drive the 1-year, 3-year, 5-year strategy.
  • Develop and prioritize roadmap items partnering with engineering to have a clear understanding of the level-of-effort required to achieve certain functionalities. The consolidated product roadmap items should add significant value to customers and drive higher YoY net revenue growth for Enverus in key market segments. A successful effort will ensure division meets bookings targets, increases retention ratio, decreases technical debt, decreases duplication of efforts, encourages client upgrades, and wins new logos.
  • Align with engineering and product owners on all business strategies and roadmaps. Ensure that all resources are allocated toward the activities that will drive the highest growth, as well as working toward the consolidated product vision.
  • Engage, build and maintain an in-depth understanding of client experience and market evidence required to ensure that the consolidated product vision is aligned with the market requirements.
  • Track competitors and define product differentiators by industry and market segment.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the product owners and engineering teams.
  • Serve as a valuable member of the team having energy and commodity industry expertise aimed at solving trading and risk management problems.
  • Have and apply experience working with trading and risk applications, enterprise data management platforms, predictive analytics software, and SaaS based cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to proactively drive product growth, while balancing customer needs and long-term competitor differentiation.
  • Demonstrate ability to take enterprise data management platforms to the cloud with an understanding of managed service offerings.
  • Prove ability to make key partnering decisions for the product line, taking into consideration build vs buy strategies.
  • Have and apply experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.
  • Demonstrate ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects in your product area.
  • Develop the business value points for driving internal and external awareness of product value, brand, and differentiation.

Competitive Candidate Profile

  • BS/BA in Business, Computer Science or a related Finance field.
  • 5+ years product management experience, preferably in delivering customer-facing solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy commodities marketplace with an understanding of the dynamics related to the physical and financial trading and risk.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting cloud solutions.
  • 5+ years building Trading & Risk solutions working with various Risk technologies.
  • Pragmatic Marketing “Foundations” and “Focus” Course certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment a plus.
  • Located in the United States a must.
  • Travel approximately 50% with international travel every other month.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
