We are currently seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our Payroll team on a project basis. Enverus is implementing Workday HCM/Payroll globally with a target go-live of January 1, 2027, and this engagement provides hands-on implementation support to our internal international payroll team across the United Kingdom, Spain, Czech Republic, Singapore, Australia, and India. You will work directly alongside Enverus' regional payroll stakeholders as a knowledgeable resource who bridges the gap between our internal team and our implementation consultants — helping to review, validate, and prepare country-specific Workday Payroll configurations for go-live

Remote; aligned to project time zones across EU and APAC

What you'll do:

  •  Work alongside Enverus' internal regional payroll team to review and provide feedback on country-specific Workday Payroll configurations across all six jurisdictions
  • Help the internal team evaluate configuration of country-specific earnings, deductions, pay frequencies, payroll calendars, and statutory payment types for each jurisdiction
  • UK: Support the internal team in reviewing PAYE, National Insurance, pension auto-enrolment, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and P60/P45/P11D configurations — flagging gaps or misalignments with Enverus' UK payroll practices
  • Spain: Assist in validating configuration of IRPF, social security contributions (TGSS), payroll accruals (pagas extraordinarias), and any local provider integrations
  • Czech Republic: Help review income tax, social and health insurance, and statutory deduction configurations against local Enverus requirements
  • Singapore: Support validation of CPF, SDL, FWL, IR8A/IR21, and MOM compliance configurations
  • Australia: Assist in reviewing SuperStream, STP Phase 2, PAYG, leave accruals, and Fair Work Act entitlement configurations
  • India: Help validate EPF, ESI, PT, TDS, and statutory compliance configurations against Enverus' India payroll requirements
  • Assist the internal team in participating meaningfully in parallel payroll testing and gross-to-net reconciliation for each country
  • Help develop internal documentation and job aids so the Enverus team can manage the system post go-live
  • Support the internal team in reviewing UAT test scripts and tracking defects through the resolution process
  • Support the development, implementation, and documentation of internal controls related to Workday Payroll — including role-based access design and approval workflow validation — ensuring configurations align with Enverus' internal control requirements before go-live

 What you should have:

  • 3+ years of international Workday Payroll implementation experience, including hands-on exposure across multiple countries — sufficient to critically review configuration decisions and represent Enverus' interests in design sessions
  • Hands-on familiarity with Workday Payroll configuration and implementation (design, build, and parallel testing) in the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Singapore, Australia, and India
  • Working knowledge of statutory payroll compliance in covered jurisdictions — enough to evaluate configurations, identify potential gaps, and ask informed questions on behalf of the internal team
  • Experience participating in or supporting multi-country parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, and UAT processes
  • Workday Payroll certification preferred; recent demonstrable project experience considered in lieu of active certification
  • Familiarity with internal controls in a Workday Payroll context — specifically role-based security and approval workflow design as they intersect with payroll audit and compliance requirements
  • Strong English language communication skills — comfortable working with in-country payroll stakeholders, translating Workday configuration decisions into practical business terms, and escalating concerns through the project's governance structure

Nice to have:

  •  Additional language proficiency in Spanish and/or Czech
  • Experience supporting payroll implementations for mid-market to enterprise companies (200–2,000 international employees)
  • Familiarity with Workday Global Payroll Connect and Cloudpay for countries where payroll runs through a third-party provider
  • Working knowledge of data privacy requirements (GDPR for UK/Spain/CZK, PDPA for Singapore, Privacy Act for Australia) as they relate to payroll data
  • Prior experience working as an embedded consultant supporting an internal team alongside a system integrator
