Network Distribution Analysts - Deployer
Description
The Network Distribution Analyst’s responsibilities will be to manage product flow from an end to end perspective. They will plan the movement of inventory from production facilities and make adjustments to the plan while maintaining high customer service levels, reducing total delivered cost and improve efficiencies with total network costs.
The Network Distribution Analyst will work with key stakeholders in various functions to coordinate the execution of business directives. They will gather and coordinate inputs to help manage the finished goods inventory at all distribution centers and outside storage locations.
The Network Distribution Analyst will develop and execute inventory distribution plans and strategies to deliver against business objectives and growth plans. They will ensure successful delivery of products to the customers while aligning with internal departments on improvement opportunities. They will monitor and resolve deployment and customer-based exceptions, resolve inventory discrepancies and track key metrics for improved business performance.
The Network Distribution Analyst’s responsibilities will span the entire long-term horizon covering functions such as product management and lifecycle, distribution execution, capacity planning and Import/Export partners. There will be close partnerships developed with Supply Chain Director, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, 3rd Party Business Partners and Customer Service. The Analysts will be responsible for resolving any exceptions to the plan to ensure optimal use of capacity and waste mitigation.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in forecasting, planning, logistics, or consulting in these areas.
- Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data.
- Excellent oral and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills with focuses on mathematical modeling and/or database building and maintenance (including Microsoft Office)
- Consumer Packaged Goods experience is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3-4 year experience in Inventory Management roles such as; Inventory Deployer, Inventory Coordinator, Production Planner; experience using DRP or other finite scheduling tools.
