POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Master Data, you will be a key member of a critical group focused on collaborating with business, operations, and technical teams to drive the designs and maturity of our core Order to Cash and Customer master data management capabilities to enable Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream to meet their strategic objectives.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, maintaining existing customer accounts and products; coordinating implementation of new customers and products; ensuring product data conforms with industry standards and internal procedures; working with internal and external teams to define and refine industry standards and business processes; and working closely with the partners and business teams to drive and improve information accuracy.  Also responsible for measuring progress to provide feedback to management and operating divisions to ensure the objectives are being met.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Business and Technology primary point of contact for Customer Master Data capabilities
  • Design high quality and high performance master data objects with all necessary attributes to meet the needs of the business and technology capability teams
  • Create high quality documentation for technical teams to configure the Dreyer’s Master Data system(s) in accordance with the designs
  • Develop subject matter expertise in Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Order to Cash data and business processes, and act as a cross-functional connection point to lead end to end thinking on the data subject area
  • First line of defense on data issues, own end to end resolution; business process changes or facilitating technology changes in partnership with the Order to Cash, and technology teams
  • Consult with appropriate Functional owners and technology teams for Master Data requirements
  • Partner with Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Functional Leaders and Information business owners to ensure consistency with enterprise definitions and enable data governance practices
  • Understand high level information flow for Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and functional master data
  • Work cross-functionally, to identify and quantify pain points, develop use cases, define requirements, and implementation activities on high priority initiatives
  • Investigative analysis on functional pain points (process and system gaps)
  • Use data analysis to quantify data quality issues, develop business cases, and provide guidance to data owners for cleansing needs to support migrations and implementations
  • Provide inputs for training and communications on master data

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • 2-4+ years’ experience in data analysis across systems and processes or similar experience in the Order to Cash Business or Technology Teams or Business Intelligence space; should include comprehensive experience in business/process support
  • Knowledge of Customer Master Data objects, related settings, and business processes is required
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing demands
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proven experience building strong working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams
