Position Summary:

The Marketing Financial Coordinator will add value to the business by driving processes and deliverables to provide actionable outputs specific to the Marketing Budget Management functions of the business. This individual will coordinate, consolidate, execute and analyze ongoing Marketing expense planning and will provide necessary supporting analysis to internal cross-functional business teams.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Budget Management Reporting

  • Support Marketing budget owners in creating Purchase Orders, Managing Vendor Relationships, maintaining Brand Marketing Budget Trackers, and technical system troubleshooting
  • Provide timely and relevant business reporting to the Marketing/Finance Teams of monthly Forecasted expenses
  • Provide Cross-Functional support to Finance and Marketing teams to manage ongoing expenses including incremental funding requests and management of expected performances against budget

Strategic Planning

  • Partner with Marketing Brand Managers to create annual bottoms-up budget by Brand in alignment with Finance and overall Division Budget
  • Model out ongoing activities at the Brand level to coordinate with Demand Planning and Finance team plans
  • Coordinate strategic changes between Brand Managers to ongoing budgets as decided by Leadership

Process Development

  • Focus on process development to improve current procedures to be nimble against dynamic requests
  • Develop cross-functional team partnerships with a focus on providing customer service to internal business partners with ad-hoc reporting, process improvements to enable decision making specific to Marketing expenses
  • Primary Point of Contact for System transitions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred. Concentration in Accounting, Finance or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a coordinating role
  • Experience in Consumer Goods company/industry preferred
  • Experience in organizations over 1000 people preferred
  • Intermediate in Excel and SAP (or other ERP System) preferred
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and improving processes

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial and fast paced role
  • Must be a problem solver, adaptable, a team player, detail oriented, and an excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet tight deadlines required
