Role and Activity

  • To ensure our manufacturing facility is always clean and work areas clean
  • Execute cross training plan on shift, identify gaps
  • Day to Day workforce adjustment
  • MSS/PM assignment
  • Ensure operator PM competency
  • Ensure team tests all mix tanks at end of their shifts
  • Have mix areas “audit ready” at all times
  • Conduct pre-shift huddles
  • Communication of problems/watchouts to factory via communication protocol
  • Responsible for Cycle Count Completion percentage no less than 95%
  • Conduct coaching of team members as needed and perform corrective action as needed partner with HR and Mix Manager
  • Complete shift Mix Room supervisor checklist per shift
  • Verify physical inventories match with SAP inventories.
  • Assign all mix operator level PM’s and cycle counts
  • Be skillful in decision-making to make schedule and tank changes when needed
  • Fill in as Mix Manager as needed or delegated
  • Correct break timings – no slack
  • Always conclude a solution of the root cause of the issue.
  • Ensure the team has “the tools to do the job”, everything in its place, no clutter, no compromise
  • To drive the mix making process to ensure the products produced meet customer specification, quality and food safety
  • To ensure daily, weekly and monthly production meets targeted outputs through effective management of mix plans and execution
  • Be visible and accommodating to guide, coach and monitor your mix team’s progress
  • To be proactive, looking for areas of improvement and adopt techniques and practices that ensure there is a quality environment in mix making
  • Ensure you walk the talk and use the seeing eyes, attend to the issues as and when they happen
  • Promote the Froneri culture of employees being owners rather than just employees.
  • Ensure employee Health and Safety
  • Adjust the mix staffing schedule as needed and partner with the Mix Room Manager

Measurable Outcomes

  • No downtime from lack of mix
  • Reducing trends of wastage.
  • Accurate mix powder inventory.
  • Ensure Machines are checked prior to production. Ensure all tools are stored in the correct places.
  • Ensure routine checks executed prior to CDFA Quarterly
