SUMMARY:
Lead the Planning team in the effective application of Best Practice and efficient processes, to
ensure that finished goods are available meet Customer demand, at the right stock location and
with high Freshness, whilst minimizing Cost. Contribute to Strategic (3 years +) and Tactical (18
months) Business Planning via Monthly Business Planning and the Dynamic Planning
Framework. Ensure continuing alignment with Business priorities, initiatives and activities, and
the delivery of performance to agreed KPI levels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the relationship and the effective flow of information between the Planning
function and internal business partners such as Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement,
Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance.
• Effective contribution and participation in the Monthly Business Planning process
according to Best Practice.
• Relevant information analyzed and communicated to Senior Management by sharing the
KPIs; performance gaps highlighted; detailed information on the impact of proposed
actions and trade-offs available and proposed actions are realistic and achievable.
• Ensure proper cascading of KPI’s to drive ownership and alignment across the
organization.
• Supply Planning Principles, Process and Best Practice: Capacity Planning; Production
Planning and Scheduling; Manufacturing Performance and Management and planning of
inventory
• Impact of, and relationship between: Product portfolio (type of demand, seasonality,
lifecycle status, shelf life); Master Production & Detailed Production.
• Business Planning Processes across and between functions: Monthly Business Planning;
Dynamic Forecasting; Market Business Strategy; Supply Chain key meetings
• Controlling the working capital by optimizing the stock value and availability
• Managed NPDs plan across all dept. to deliver the project in time.
• Ensure stock cover for all range without affecting the business working capital.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, logistics or Economics.
• Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• 3-6 years demonstrated experience working in Supply Chain in manufacturing.
• Experience working with FMCGs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The pay scale disclosed below has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay scale for employees currently in this role are between $85,000 and $100,000 per year.
