Broad Purpose of Role: 
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven individual to join our team in the role of Financial, Planning, Reporting and Analysis Manager.   In this position, you will play a crucial role in adding financial value to our business by effectively managing our overall processes and deliverables as they relate to 3 year strategy planning, annual planning, month end and weekly reporting and monthly forecasting.  If you are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial analysis and strategic planning, we invite you to apply and contribute to our continued success. 
 
Key Responsibilities/Duties: 
 
  • Provide timely and relevant financial analysis / reporting to allow for proper decision making at all levels of the organization including P&L/EBITDA weekly KPIs, annual budget and latest outlook.
  • Preparation of regular forecasts and coordination with relevant business partners to highlight risks and opportunities across all lines of the P&L.
  • Lead 2 Senior Financial Analysts.
  • Establish and identify process improvements for all business planning and reporting processes that would create efficiencies while maintaining accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
Other Responsibilities 
Financial Reporting / Month end / Year end / Weekly KPI 
  • Coordination with UK Group Finance of all relevant timeline and deliverables
  • Communication and coordination of all relevant timeline and deliverables with Internal US Leadership, US Finance team and other relevant business partners
  • Resolve audit inquiries related to certain specific P&L and Balance sheet lines
  • End to end Management of month end close process including ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly reporting package submission including commentary
  • Management of weekly KPI reporting including variance analysis across all P&L lines vs budget and vs prior year, and including commentary
 
Budgeting / Forecasting 
  • Lead Budgeting and Forecasting process for all lines of the P&L up to EBITDA and Stock / Inventory
  • Lead Coordination of budgeting and forecasting deliverables with UK Group Finance, Internal Finance Team and US Leadership members and functional owners.
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities to optimize EBITDA.
 
Analytics 
  • Lead and perform various Ad Hoc Analysis given current and future performance expectations
  • Support people development and training needs within Financial Planning Reporting and Analysis team
 
Functional/Job Experience:  
  • 5-10 years of finance experience, CPG experience preferred
Education/Qualifications:  
  • Finance Degree Highly Preferred
The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The pay scale disclosed below has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $130,000 and $160,000 per year.
