Position Summary:

The Business Support Associate supports the Account Director and Team Leader with Account & Team Operations. They will work closely with the customer sales team to drive key trade analysis, account promotional plans, and other operational activities. This individual will work in conjunction with the team to translate the business needs into reports/analytics, trade analysis, functional requirements and use cases, interpret the needs for the customer and team, and help create course-correcting game plans.



  • Achieve performance objectives by leveraging trade strategy to win at your accounts
  • Work with the team for standardized reports, insights on the business, and trade optimization focus on growth opportunities in support of the CAMs, DSMs and AD for customer sales team
  • Clearly execute all DGIC priorities and deliver the profitability, growth and goals for your accounts

Customer Strategy:

  • Forecast accuracy, trade, contract & deduction compliance, sales performance targets, meeting sales goals, segmentation / resource allocation, improving customer service and customer profitability targets
  • Customer team specific work utilizing the tools and resources. Work could include data management, trade analysis, post event analysis, provide customer promotional decision support.

  • Improving execution
  • Support the creation of end to end customer promotion plans

  • Improving selling capabilities and adding customer value through improved analytics and insights, and continuous improvement

Drive Quality:

  • Become a quality agent by continuously checking our products in various stores and location.  Provide feedback and challenge as necessary to help the organization understand the retail experience.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant analytical experience (financial reporting/executive reporting preferred)
  • Experience with database reporting tools preferred

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software; proficiency in Excel a must
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial and fast paced role
  • Ability to communicate across all functions and levels within the organization
  • Ability to influence and drive decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet tight deadlines required
  • Strong analytical skills
