Role and Activity

  • Supply production through effective planning for the factory, mix plant and warehouse.
  • Achieving service level targets.
  • Maintain material working capital at or below budgeted levels.
  • Maintain finished goods stocks at target levels.
  • Drive the team to look for improvements.
  • Ensuring the MRP system within SAP is always up to date and operational.
  • Report weekly KPIs, know your numbers.
  • Actively looking for improvements in quality from suppliers.
  • Training of all staff is up to date.
  • A close working relationship with NPD monitoring new products and recipe/artwork changes.
  • Ensure all areas are operating under factory standards.
  • Planning, work orders, purchase orders, contracts, pricing, and the process is followed in a timely manner in the supply chain department.
  • Clean desk policy, clean warehouse and all other areas you are responsible for.
  • Ensure that you are the focal point for the team.
  • Promote the Froneri culture of employees being owners rather than just employees.
  • Ensure the use of other group resources to guarantee synergies are carried through, driving knowledge and issues to be shared on quality improvements.
  • Attend the daily DRM meeting and debrief the supply chain team daily basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Measurable Outcomes

  • Production and mix plant are effective with minimum change overs and downtime.
  • No production downtime due to non-delivery by supply chain team.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly KPI’s targets are fully met.
  • Systems in place for effective management of the supply chain team.
  • Costs are maintained at or below target levels.
  • Multi skilled team in place.
  • Relevant training and development plans in place for all staff producing measurable business benefits.
  • Write off costs kept at a minimum.
  • Meeting customer service levels.
  • Meeting targets on agreed time scales.
  • Supply Chain department white board up to date of the daily and weekly KPI’s and tasks.
  • Shop floor presence for you and your team.
  • Hygienically clean areas.
