Product Adoption Manager

Software Product Development (r&D) London, United Kingdom

Description

Position at DNEG

DNEG is looking for a Product Adoption Manager, reporting to the Director of Product Development, to grow and lead a team of creative specialists and technical authors.

Common challenges we face with software development within a Post Production facility is that we often rely on our stakeholders to validate new features and products. Stakeholders in turn may need to delegate testing and validation which will vary in quality and completeness due to our overall priority being the shows that we deliver. Similarly, user and workflow documentation is a collaboration between software developers and artists, all of which may vary in consistency and currentness.

The Product Adoption Team will collaborate with teams within the Product Development department to ensure that software products and tools are of high quality, and follow a consistent user and workflow experience. The team will also be responsible for the creation of user guides and training materials for technical trainers, artists, and pipeline TDs. Finally, they will work closely with Technical Supervisors and Project Managers to facilitate the communication and rollout of new products and/or key features.

As the Product Adoption Manager, you will initially need to work with Talent Acquisition to draft job descriptions, interview, and grow a global team. You will need to have a passion for delivering high quality software products, initially being hands on to help define the software product adoption process, and train your growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Product Development department,

contributing to the technology behind exceptional VFX and Feature Animation work,

partnering with smart, creative and versatile teams of technologists and artists.

Must have:

  • Experience in managing Quality Assurance and/or Technical Documentation Teams
  • Passion for delivering high quality software
  • A persistent yet patient attitude
  • Excellent written communication

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Training
  • Experience in VFX/Animation
