Role Description:

This position is for whoever loves to work with dynamic, creative and highly technical people. We are looking for a Senior System and Network Administrator to join our studio to work on global IT infrastructure. Our System Administrators play a key part because their role entails day to day support as well as project work to sustain and improve our large, primarily Linux infrastructure. You will be involved in all areas of the IT Infrastructure operational activities like security, virtualization, Linux/Windows server environments, network and storage ensuring maximum performance,  availability and reliability of the supported platforms and technology. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Work as an active team member for joint success of the projects, taking responsibility, and providing timely updates, documentation for assigned action items and deliverables.
  • Make an active contribution to the architecture, implementation, and management of the infrastructure services in a predominantly Linux server and workstations environment.
  • Configuration and management of render farm. 

Key candidate requirements: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven previous experience as a Systems Administrator or relative roles
  • Extensive experience working with Linux systems including RedHat 
  • Knowledge of Python, Perl or Bash
  • Experience using Git
  • Experience working with a ticketing system, ideally JIRA
  • Ability to articulate complex information to non-technical people
