Verywell Health and Health are seeking board-certified physicians, PharmD, and nutritionists to join our Medical Expert Board and review our content.

Our Medical Expert Board ensures that all of our medical content is accurate and up-to-date. A Medical Advisory Board member’s name and headshot appear on the content they review and they are added to our Medical Advisory Board page. Medical Advisory Board members also receive a biography page on Verywell Health and Health.com, which includes their headshot and experience. This is a great opportunity to be a part of growing healthcare websites and showcase your expertise in your industry.

 Assignment Details:

This is a remote, contract position but all reviewers must be based in and board-certified in the United States. Time commitment can vary from just a few hours a week or much more, depending on one’s availability. This is not a writing position, and writing experience is not required.

The compensation for this role is $125 per hour. 

Assignment Responsibilities: 

  • Review medical content to ensure all claims are factual and consistent with clinical best practices
  • Advising on clinical guidelines that inform content updates
  • Providing attributed quotes on articles to offer your expertise
  • Collaborating and advising on special editorial projects

Skills/Experience: 

  • Board-certified healthcare physician, PharmD, or nutritionist who is research-literate and current with industry standards
  • Conscientious, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Deep respect for the accuracy and integrity of public health resources
  • Experience with consumer health content is a plus
