Senior JDE Finance Functional Analyst

Your Role:


This position will be a member of the JD Edwards team. As a Senior Finance Functional Analyst, this role will provide subject matter expertise for JD Edwards E1 Finance modules. As a member of the Application Operations team this role will require close collaboration with business users, the technical team, and project managers in order to provide high quality deliverables and support.


More specifically, you will have to:

  • Work with business users to gather, refine, and document business requirements to enhance JDE E1 functionality based on approved user requirements
  • Provide optimal solutions to meet the business requirements
  • Provide proof of concept, document detail solution design and test cases
  • Be able and willing to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Provide functional support including system configurations related to JDE Finance and related modules:
    • General and Sales Accounting
    • Accounts Receivable and Invoicing
    • Accounts Payable and Freight Accounting
    • Advanced Pricing and Rebates
    • Multi-Currency
    • Taxes
  • Knowledge of JDE Order to Cash and Logistics processes:
    • Order Management
    • Warehousing
    • Transportation
  • Integration between Finance and Sales modules
  • Develop training material for the Testing and Training
  • Perform support after project and operations delivery
  • Desire to continuously improve IT by seeking solutions and offering alternatives

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years as a JD Edwards Functional Analyst (E1 9.0 and higher) including 5+ years with the Finance modules
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration or equivalent discipline is preferred
  • Experience working with financial accounting and setting up chart of accounts is preferred
  • Experience with Vertex and Avalara is preferred
  • Implementation experience with an ERP system preferred
  • Manufacturing environment, knowledge with supply chain and or interaction with Sales, Warehousing and Finance teams experience preferred
