Electrical Reliability Engineer:  This role will provide support for the needs of the business in the maintenance reliability function. The Reliability Engineer's responsibility is to maintain and improve the reliability of our manufacturing operations by eliminating production limiting failures from our process and increase the life of our assets. The Reliability Engineer will partner with operation, maintenance, engineering, purchasing and mill leaders to realize improved reliability in all process areas.

 

This support includes, but is not limited to the following:

-Identify & implement improvements in process & equipment reliability across the Mill by working closely with operations & maintenance personnel.

-Provide maintenance engineering, technical assistance & reliability leadership/support.

-Coordinate & supervise both mill & contractor personnel as needed.

-Serve as a key interface for reliability improvement by reviewing equipment history & performing root cause failure analysis.

-Review and update existing preventive maintenance processes & procedures

-Execute outage work/projects as assigned.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

-BS Degree in Electrical Engineering

-Minimum of 3 years working in an industrial environment

-Rotating equipment troubleshooting aptitude

-Some experience in utilizing reliability systems, methods and processes

-Knowledgeable using a Computerized Maintenance Management System

-Accessing equipment at heights

-Working extended hours to support plant outages

-Strong interpersonal, leadership and time management skills

-Analytical, critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills

-Ability to work independently and as a team

-Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively

- Excellent computer skills

-Advanced experience, knowledge and understanding of safe work practices

 

 

Desired Requirements:

-BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Reliability

-Minimum of 5 years in a continuous process industry

-Rotating equipment troubleshooting aptitude

-Predictive technologies experience

-Proficient in facilitating Root Cause Problem Elimination and Asset Strategy Development processes

-High level user in SAP software
