What is the primary purpose of the position?
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of the Warehouse operation to include safety, quality and efficiency. This includes the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of the WMS (Warehouse Management System). The Team Leader is responsible for maintaining warehouse processes within the prescribed SOP’s and Work instructions. In addition the Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in providing leadership and training for all team members in the areas of productivity, quality, service to operations and housekeeping.
What are the minimum requirements to be considered for this great opportunity? High school diploma or equivalent GED from an accredited school. Fork Lift Certified. Two years experience as a supervisor or a leadership role. Previous employment in a high speed manufacturing/warehouse environment and/or on the job training Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. Strong mathematical skills Must be able to work overtime as required Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
