Job Title: The JDE Senior Finance Functional Analyst

 

Job Description:

 

This position will be a member of the JD Edwards Project Delivery team. As a Senior Finance Functional Analyst, this role will provide subject matter expertise for JD Edwards E1 Finance modules. As a member of the Project Delivery team this role will require close collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, business users and the technical team in order to provide high quality project deliverables.

 

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Work with business users to gather, refine, and document business requirements to enhance JDE E1 functionality based on approved user requirements
  • Provide optimal solutions to meet the business requirements
  • Provide proof of concept, document detail solution design and test cases
  • Be able and willing to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Provide functional support including system configurations related to JDE Finance modules:
    • General Accounting
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Accounts Payable
    • Multi-Currency
    • Taxes
  • Knowledge of JDE Order to Cash and Logistics processes:
    • Advanced Pricing
    • Order Management
    • Warehousing
    • Transportation
    • Sales Accounting / Invoicing
  • Develop and present training material for the Testing and Training project phases
  • Perform post go-live operational support after project delivery launch through project phase transitions to Operations team
  • Desire to continuously improve IT-Project Delivery by seeking solutions and offering alternatives

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years as a JD Edwards Functional Analyst (E1 9.0 and higher)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration or equivalent discipline is preferred
  • Experience working with financial accounting and setting up chart of accounts is preferred
  • Implementation experience with an ERP system preferred
  • Manufacturing environment, knowledge with supply chain and or interaction with Sales, Warehousing and Finance teams experience preferred
