Rothschild Mill

 

Position:

Operations Coordinator - Rothschild Biomass Cogeneration Facility (RBCF)

 

Grade:  14A

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Biomass Cogeneration Facility which generates energy for both the mill and the MISO power grid.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

 

  •  

Lead Domtar efforts to coordinate operations and maintenance of the RBCF

 

  •  

Champion of safety, utilizing the Domtar Safety System

 

  •  

Champion of regulatory compliance

 

  •  

Direct supervision of operating crews

 

  •  

Liaison with Domtar Pulp and Paper operations and WEC Energy Group

 

  •  

Accountable for safety/environment/productivity and quality results, short and long term.

Lead the operator training and qualification board process for the RBCF

Technical Competencies:

World Class safety expectations and experience

 

  •  

BS or higher in Pulp/Paper, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

 

  •  

Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups of people

 

  •  

5+ years of Operations Leadership experience with focus on Power and Steam and High Performance Work Systems.

 

  •  

Business Acumen – able to support two companies in two industries (pulp/paper and Utilities)

 

  •  

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex process systems and implement effective corrective actions
