Production Coordinator – Woodroom & Woodyard


Position Summary:  Resource and Team Leader within the Woodroom and Woodyard production units. This position will report to Pulp/Wood Unit Leader.


Key Responsibilities: 


Responsible for managing the process and people in the unit.


Responsible for daily production and coordination of Woodroom and Woodyard to support Pulp Mill Operation.


Work closely with Pulp Wood Procurement Manager to manage Pulp Wood receiving and storage.


Responsible for achieving the department goals.


Obtain necessary maintenance for Woodroom and Woodyard Operations in order to maintain and improve safety, productivity and quality.


Coordination and managing of suppliers.


Responsible for safety, quality, environment, process reliability, cost and morale.


Provides education in technical and non-technical areas. 


Responsible for rail services oversight.

General knowledge of woodroom / woodyard operations and papermaking process


3 years of supervisory experience or


Degree in Pulp & Paper, Engineering, Business, or Environmental


Computer, communication, troubleshooting, analysis, and mechanical aptitude skills.


Successful experience in promoting a safe working environment


Flexible work hours necessary up to and including rotating weekend coverage duties
