Accounting S/W client implementation and training consultant!
Formal accounting expertise required - Quickbooks highly preferred!

The Accounting Implementation Lead is responsible for providing support as a member of the Accounting Implementation team during the successful on-boarding and training of the DX1 accounting solution which includes the accounting connector, QuickBooks, and reporting functions, and post implementation follow up during the customer’s first month end close.

Group/Team Description: The Accounting Implementation Lead is a key member of the DX1 Implementation Team that includes setup, training, data migration, and dealership support.

Communication Responsibilities: The Accounting Implementation Lead is a first point of contact for customers during the Implementation process and immediately following Go Live.  They are also responsible for ensuring that accounting setup is done in a timely manner prior to customer use as well as assisting in following up with the customer to ensure proper use and answer any inquiries that may arise immediately following Implementation and during the customer’s first month end close.

Major Responsibilities/Decisions:  

Effectively handle phone calls to and from new customers and answering inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating and providing information.

Help customers by providing answers to questions about the DX1 and QuickBooks applications and the integration of the two.

Share information with other Implementation team members on problems or issues that arise during the Discovery and Setup process.

Post relevant information in a knowledge database, to include providing updates of all interaction with customers during the Implementation process.

Provide remote phone based training and potential travel to customer site to train on the DX1 accounting application.

Maintain constructive relationships with customers, Implementation Leads, and Support Team. Bring to the attention of the Implementation team any issues/needs throughout the Implementation process.

Help the customer support team with accounting related calls and questions.

Any other duties commensurate with the responsibility of this position, for which the ISRC has the necessary experience and/or training.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of accounting

Understanding and previous use of Quickbooks desktop and/or quickbooks online

Dealership experience a plus (auto, powersports, marine, lawn and garden)

Additional responsibilities:

  • Manage and track workload for all new Implementations for the Accounting Implementation team.
  • Work directly with the Sales team to prepare for and deliver Sales demos to potential customers.
  • Work directly with Account Management on special projects to provide additional training for our existing customers.
  • Work directly with our Customer Support team to assist with existing customer issues that cannot be handled at the Support level.
  • Initial and ongoing accounting training for all teams.
  • Develop, document and implement processes for internal and customer training when new features are added or changed in the Accounting module.
