ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to assist with our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities including journal entries, month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance
- Maintain, upkeep, and review corporate credit card program and coding
- Prepare revenue and deferred revenue entries for all entities
- Maintain cash activity, booking of journal entires and reconciliations of multiple entities
- Managing receivables with vendors and third party service organizations
- Daily and monthly inventory reconciliation of multiple entities
- Assist in annual inventory count
- Help implement processes and procedures
- Assist with special projects and research projects as assigned by management team
- 1+ years of applicable accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Previous experience with major accounting software experience such as JD Edwards preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Good organization, analytic and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
